Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) has introduced a comprehensive AI Impact Framework, aimed at quantifying the real business outcomes achieved through artificial intelligence. This initiative seeks to go beyond merely tracking AI usage, focusing instead on the tangible enhancements in productivity, automation, and reusable capabilities within organizations.
The framework provides a structured approach for employees to document evidence of AI-driven work completed over the past six months. This evidence can include a variety of deliverables such as production code, custom AI agents, automated testing systems, delivery pipelines, large-scale migrations, internal tools, and reusable systems. Excluded from this evaluation are self-reported or hypothetical AI capabilities, ensuring that only concrete achievements are assessed.
GAP employs a multi-agent evaluation process within its framework. Initially, an evaluator reviews the submitted evidence. This is followed by an adversarial agent who challenges any unsupported claims, while a referee then examines both assessments to assign a final score. Human managers and project leaders subsequently validate the results, with a provision for further review in the case of disputes.
Based on the framework’s assessments, participants are classified into four distinct AI maturity levels. These range from basic AI integration to advanced capabilities where AI agents, automated workflows, and reusable systems deliver significant organizational impact. As of July 2026, GAP reported that 41% of its workforce had attained Level 3, while 48% had reached Level 2 in AI maturity.
Internally, GAP leverages this framework to pinpoint skill gaps and develop personalized growth plans for its employees. By establishing measurable baselines and identifying development needs, the framework helps organizations transition from initial AI adoption to more autonomous and impactful operational practices.
